Bärbel Kuhlmann

Bärbel Kuhlmann is based in the Firm’s Frankfurt Office. Her practice focuses on labor law. She advises national and international companies on all aspects of individual and collective labor law. Ms. Kuhlmann has experience in the area of corporate re-organization and restructuring in particular negotiations with works councils on social compensation plans and reconciliations of interests. Ms. Kuhlmann also represents companies in termination matters as well as in all disputes with employees before Labor Courts and High Labor Courts.

Her extensive experience includes also frequent lecturing on up-to-date labor law topics. In addition, she provides in-house compliance counseling.

Mrs. Kuhlmann is a German-qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwältin) admitted to the Frankfurt Bar and a Certified Specialist for Labor Law (Fachanwältin für Arbeitsrecht). Prior to joining Curtis, she was a senior associate with a medium-sized German law firm in Berlin and Frankfurt.
