Practice

Mr. Laurer is an associate in the International Corporate Department and a member of Curtis’s International Funds Group. He concentrates on international transactions, specifically on all legal aspects of professional investment management. Mr. Laurer’s practice includes the screening, structuring and forming of US and offshore investment funds, in particular private equity funds and hedge funds, and he has advised US and foreign clients on various related US, European and German regulatory matters. Mr. Laurer’s other areas of practice include general corporate and commercial law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments in the professional investment management area.

Mr. Laurer is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in Germany.
