Donald Macfarlane is an associate in the Firm’s International Corporate department and has a background in technology, intellectual property and litigation. Dr. Macfarlane’s practice has focused on international cross-border M&A, litigation and intellectual property matters frequently including complex agreements, assignments and licenses (including software) as well as negotiating joint venture agreements and finance projects. Prior to joining Curtis, Dr. Macfarlane was an in-house IP lawyer with British Petroleum (BP) as well as an Assistant Litigation Manager with Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP.

Dr. Macfarlane is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and is admitted as a solicitor in Australia (NSW).
